GoR thomas ref OCW

the main characters from guardians of reality!! for THIS comic I wanted to make characters using a "launching point"..... and the launching point I chose was "the 5 senses, touch, taste, smell, vision, and hearing" so, the characters personalities and traits I derived from what I thought of, when I thought of that particular sense! then when I was making their names, I used the first letter of that sense and ran with it!....... even their powers have a touch of when sense they represent!

SENSE AND POWERS
thomas' sense is taste, he is the only character that uses a weapon (a retractable spear/staff) in addition to his special power............. and his powers are somewhat complicated....... the long term part of his powers is reflected by what kinds of foods he's been eating recently..... so, if he'd been eating salty foods, it increases his strength, sweet foods make him move faster, sour foods give him harder hits, spicy foods makes him deal damage to the enemy even if he's hit (basically he gets a "spicy type aura" which can burn if you get too close) and bitter foods reset all of this.........

but that's only the long term part to his powers.......... in his staff, he has a compartment where he carries "taste pills" which can give him a boost of a certain kind if and when he needs it........ he makes these pills himself with an old pill machine his father had (his father was a pharmacist) and all they are is either surgar, salt, curry, dried lemon extract, and ground herbal roots (to make bitter)
while this power may seem like it would be weak, compared to the others...... thomas's power is the only one that can have ALL of the special powers combined...... he could take one of every pill (minus bitter, which would reset the previous pills), and get all the powers at once... BUT he knows to moderate it, because taking them all at once may work for the battle, but it takes a HECK of a lot out of him afterward and while he can still fight the day after taking them all, it gives him some decent pain.............

PERSONALITY
thomas is very VERY respectful...... despite his looks, and some of his expressions, he's actually a very nice guy. he doesn't think himself better than anyone...... being the oldest member of the group, he usually is the one to make the decisions about money or about buying the food and such...... though he recognizes that he isn't the leader, he often advises tristan(touch) in his choices as leader........ often he'll refer to the others as "kids" or "children", not in a rude or demeaning way, more of a loving fatherly way....... it takes alot to get under thomas's skin..... usually you have to threaten him or his team mates (and to show you can back up your threat)
