Terrafina ref

*deep breath*.......... OK................ I was nervous the first time I posted a pic of uni-verse (who is my take on celestia and luna's father)  (which was actually more of a design test, and it was only the second time I'd drawn him..... no I will NOT post the original idea O.o;;;; )
 then later with his revamped final design  (which even now I am still tweeking on)
I knew that I would be JUST as nervous when it would come to posting my take on celestia and luna's mother terrafina.... and I found out, rightfully so...... terra went through 3 or 4 revamps before I settled on this design..... but, I like it.....

AND I'M GONNA TRY NOT TO BE SCARED OF OPINIONS.......................................................... still please be gentle....

I'm gonna try and "pre-answer" some questions that I think will be asked ...(keep in mind all these answers go with the world of MLP that me and made with our RPs, it's not always canon, so if you disagree, that's fine, but we will not force changes to change our ponyverse because of your opinions)

Q. "she doesn't look much like celestia, OR luna..... why?" 
A. well, celestia, as well as luna, both inherited uni's "celestial magic" which is magic of the sky..... terrafina's magic is earth based (hence "TERRAfina") though terra does share some coloration with celestia, and has luna's eyecolor... also, she passed on her straight horn, rather than uni's curved horn

Q. "what does her cutiemark mean?"
A. it's supposed to be an arrow turning the earth, terrafina's talent is to start, and continue changed in the earth, like, the changes in the seasons, and the climate changes, like the ocean's flowings (not the tides, those are still lunar effects of course)  that also plays into her coloration..... the pink represents spring, green is for summer, the tan and brown is for fall, and the blue is winter (it was supposed to be a bit lighter, but I think I got my shades wrong, regardless I like how it looks now)

Q. "where is she in your series?"
A. sadly, in our series, terrafina passed on, she became ill when celestia and luna were young... I intend to post a story (comic form) about all this in time.... so I won't say more than that on the matter....... though this comic "family ties"  will delve a little into what happens between terrafina and uni-verse eventually (yes, that IS my original design for her in the first panel, I was going to give her a curved horn at that point, but then changed it out after posting the dang comic XDD)

PS, just so you guys know, the lines I used to draw this, were from a sketch that was as old as the hills, back when I had TERRIBLE pony anatomy....... and while I'm still not that good, I tried to fix up the sketch, and it still has flaws..... sorry
